We’re happy to announce that season 3 of the Emmy-nominated Amazon Prime Video exclusive show Annedroids is premiering this Friday, June 24! If you haven’t seen it yet, you should! It’s a great a great show about a female role model named Anne who is all about trial and error when it comes to science. This show is an awesome way to encourage young girls into the STEM Curriculum.
Anne is not a typical girl. She is home-schooled by her scientist father and they happen to live in a junk yard. During each episode of Annedroids you’ll not only learn about different science concepts, but you’ll also see a the strength of a young girl who isn’t afraid to give up when she fails. Anne and her friends create a robot, or “Annedroid”, named Pal. In season 3 you’ll learn that Pal has a mind of his own and wants nothing more than to be a “real kid”. You’ll learn about different power sources, about emissions, how to make your own paint and so much more.
If you’re the parent of a young female I highly encourage you to have your daughter watch this show. Not only is it fun for the kids but it’s chalk full of great learning experiences at the same time. She’ll be able to see a strong female role model as the main character, which is hard to come by these days. Whenever I have my child watch a show, I try to make sure that there is an important message they’re receiving from the show. With Annedroids your child will learn that they can do whatever they set their mind to and also how much fun science can be.
Watch it Friday on Amazon!
