It is so easy to make, yet so delicious, people will think you bought it at a gourmet food store! With all the football playoff games coming up this might be a huge hit. This dill pickle dip is also great for a summer day at a picnic or just in your backyard at a bbq.
You’ll need softened cream cheese, sour cream, large dill pickle spears, garlic powder, pickle juice, dill weed, salt, and pepper. Last year we made homemade dill pickles and they were so good. I will post a homemade dill pickle recipe soon.
When it has chilled, take it out, sprinkle with any seasoning for looks, and enjoy! You can use any kind of veggies you pick or some chips. If it’s hot outside you can place the Dill Pickle Dip bowl in a bowl of ice to keep it chilled. Amazon has a much of different kinds of chip and dip bowls and some come with a chiller.
- 4 oz softened Cream Cheese
- 8 oz Sour cream
- 3 large Dill Pickle Spears
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Pickle Juice
- 1 tsp Dill Weed
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- Finely dice pickles.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Beat in sour cream.
- Beat in pickle juice.
- Stir in garlic, dill weed, salt and pepper.
- Stir in the pickles.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour.
