The best thing about a salad is that you can add anything you like to them.I love making this chef salad recipe in a jar and leaving them in the fridge to go and eat all week long. They are perfect for a picnic or a lunch on the go.
Here is my chef salad recipe. As you can see from the photo the ingredient I add into mine. It is just as easy to make while omitting or adding different ingredients.
First, you are going to need to chop everything into a bite size pieces. Once everything this cut you will layer Ingredients in Jar as follows:
Salad Dressing (you can use whatever kind you like best)
Refrigerate for up to 5 days.
- ½ head Iceberg lettuce chopped
- ¾ cup Shredded Carrots
- 4 Whole Mushrooms sliced
- 1 Hard Boiled Egg siced
- ¼ Cucumber sliced
- 8 Cherry/Grape Tomatoes
- ¼ Red Onion chopped
- ½ cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- ¼ cup Diced Ham
- 8 tbsp Salad Dressing
- Layer Ingredients in Jar as follows:
- Salad Dressing
- Red Onion
- Refrigerate for up to 5 days.
